Pod of Horror, which can be downloaded here or on iTunes is one of my favourite Podcasts at the moment.  Mark Justice, the compere isn’t just a fun sort of bloke but he interviews some interesting and often entertaining US indie horror writers like John Skipp, Brian Keene, Cory Goodfellow, Scott Sigler and a bunch of others.

Anywho, POH has a news section read out by the Queen of ‘Bite Me’ Nancy Kilantra (The Bite Me reference makes more sense if you actually listen to the podcast).  And, lo and behold, she mentioned the release of Midnight Echo.  (That might have something to do with me, but I like to think that both Nancy and Mark stumbled across ME accidentally).  Both of them mentioned how great the magazine was and Mark was especially surprised at how much horror writing talent there seems to be in Oz.  And he might have mentioned Kangaroos and shrimps.

So, if you have any interest at all in horror literature, you could do worse than downloading Pod Of Horror and giving it a listen.
