Hello. My name is Ian Mond. You may know me from such places as Locus Magazine where I have a monthly column and review all sorts of fine genre work.

My site, which for some reason I have called “The Hysterical Hamster” is where I publish reviews of everything I watch and read. The reviews are short, typically less than 500 words. This means you can read them in a couple of minutes. And if I’ve done my job correctly, you’ll have a fair idea of what I thought about a particular book or show or movie. And this might lead you to either read or watch said book, movie or show, or avoid it like the plague. You do you.
