I’m gonna be doing my first online chat tomorrow evening at 9:30.  It’ll be on the AHWA website, and I’ll be joined by fellow editors and publishers like my co-editor on Midnight Echo, Kirstyn McDermott, and other interesting types like Mr Dedman (or should I say Doctor Dedman).  The news about the chat is here.

Just as an aside, things are going great guns with Midnight Echo, issue 1.  We’ve finished the edits on most of the stories (except 3) and we’ve even had responses back from some of the writers on those edits.  Kirstyn has been brilliant to work with.  I’m not just saying that on fear that she’ll rip my throat out if I don’t.  Both of us have similar tastes and we’ve really seen eye to eye on every aspect of issue 1. 

I’m also really excited about the stories we’ve chosen.  It’s an eclectic bunch, with a decent mix of well known writers with new writers.

Midnight Echo 1 is due out on Halloween, so I’ll probably be talking about it (AKA spruking it) in the weeks to come.
