Fourteen minutes after the nominees went live (small, though apt exaggeration, but seriously it was two weeks ago!), the Kitschie award winners have been announced.  The full list of winners can be found here.

The Red Tentacle went to The Heart Goes Last by Margaret Atwood while the Golden Tentacle was won by Tade Thompson for his novel Making Wolf.

Over the next month or so I’ll get a better idea as to whether The Kitschies made the right choice or whether the judges got it horribly and tragically wrong.  In the meantime though – congratulations to all the winners.
