My brilliant little brother, the current producer of Kids WB on Channel 9, has just posted that his small film, Reception, has been picked up by the Iron Mule Film Festival (Series) in New York. The cute thing about Iron Mule is that they hold their festival on the first Saturday of every month, screening about 700 films (none of them longer than 30 minutes) throughout the year.
I’ve had the privilege of seeing Reception and while I’m more then a little biased, it’s a bloody funny and smart film. It even has a Simon Pegg look alike as one of the cast. So yeah, I’m very proud of my little brother (because even at 28 he’ll always be my little brother).
While the short film isn’t actually available anywhere on the Web, the trailer (yes, my brother made a 30 second trailer for a 7 minute film) can be found right underneath this sentence.
