A huge congrats to everyone whose been announced as a finalist for the Aurealis Awards.

Especially, a huge congrats and Mazel Tov to Deb, whose story ‘Pale Dark Soldier’ was nominated in the best horror category.  It really is a very brilliant story.  And, of course, I’m very proud that it was in the first issue of Midnight Echo.

And also a massive, explodey congrats to my fellow co-editor Kirstyn, whose utterly superb Painlessness was also nomianated in the best horror category.

I’ve read both stories and they’re both incredible works by two extremely talented writers.  If you want to read Deb’s well go out and buyMidnight Echo .  But if you wanna go and read Kirstyn’s story go out there and by the second issue of GUD.
