Well, the author bios are in, the introduction by myself and Kirstyn has been writen, and the magazine is only days away from being totally laid out.  I can’t believe that in less than 4 weeks Midnight Echo #1 will be out there for all to see.

It’s been fun editing the mag with Kirstyn.  I have to admit that there were moments there when I thought we wouldn’t be able to fill the first issue.  But Kirstyn was confident that the good stories would come.  Amd she was right.

I’m proud of each story we chose.  I like how we really do cover a wide range of styles and themes and takes on the genre.  And I like how some stories really push the boundaries of what is horror fiction. 

So be preapred for Midnight Echo # 1 – out on 31 October 2008.  It will be available for free as a PDF to AHWA members.  For non members there’ll be a small price.
