Now, for the hundreds of you that read my LiveJournal, you know I’ve got impeccable taste. And you know that I wouldn’t recommend something unless I thought it was of the highest quality.

So when I say you must buy this book, you know it’s gonna be good.

I’ve had the privilege and pleasure of reading these stories prior to publication, and I have to say that they’re bloody amazing. Those of you know Rob’s work from Doctor Who and Big Finish will know how good Rob can be. And those of you who’ve heard his Radio 4 plays will know that Rob has a unique perspective on mundane, everyday life. I would say that these stories are quirky and surreal, but that really doesn’t capture the epic feeling of a piece like Tiny Deaths or Mortal Coil and it doesn’t do justice to a story so hilarious and disturbing as So Proud or Favourites.
Seriously, go and buy this book now.
