Oh look and update by me. How very odd.

Well, the holidays are just around the corner and I want to wish all you nice people a Merry X-Mas, Christmas, Humbugness, Maccabbean* Revolutioness, Mythraness* or whatever elseness floats your boat.

So what am I doing for my short break.

Well Jules and I are heading of wine country, also known as the Yarra Valley where we shall spend a pleasant couple of days kicking back, relaxing and sipping the odd red and white.

And then, in the second week of January I am off to Perth for our engagement party. I’m not sure what the schedule is going to be like, but if anyone would like to catch up (you Perth people know who you are) please drop me a line.

Other than that, life has been really good. My job involving trucks is going quite splendidly, Jules is still the best cook in the Universe, and we both enjoyed Casino Royale. Daniel Craig is da man. Pierce Brosnan never did it for me, but Craig has it, whatever it is.

Torchwood is still mostly rubbish, though episode 10 was the best of the season (and 8 wasn’t too bad either). Doctor Who will be on in 6 days and counting and Australia has won the Ashes. So yeah, I’m all smiles.

So again, hope you all have a nice holiday break. And maybe, next year, I might just update the journal more than twice a month. Who knows…

*Yes, I know, I’ve probably mis-spelled both of these, but that’s what happens when you’re trying to be smart.
