I’ve just finished watching the best Doctor Who story ever – the Empty Child and the Doctor Dances.

I’m not going to spoil it for people who have yet to see the story. But when I say it’s the Best. Episode. Ever. I really mean it. Honestly. My favourite of all time used to be City of Death. (Soon to come out on DVD Yay!) But this story, penned by the wonderful Steven Moffat, clinches top spot.

As a friend of mine said to me earlier tonight, if the Doctor Who revival were to end tomorrow (please God no) it would all be worth it for the existence of the Empty Child/Doctor Dances.

Not everyone is gonna agree with this amount of lavish praise, and I have been known for my exagerations. But I don’t care. EC/DD is the reason I love Doctor Who and it’s nice to know that Doctor Who no longer has be a quaint nostaligic experience (it aint as good as it was in the old days) because Doctor is as good if not better and EC/DD is the best!
