Shooting the Poo Episode 9 is now up on iTunes and our Posterous website thingie.
It’s the Errol Morris episode, someone who I’d never heard of until Dave decided we should do a podcast about him. The podcast, which actually is one of our funniest even if it’s also about cop killers, Nazis and Stephen Hawking, also guest stars Werner Herzog. Werner turns out to have a voracious appetite and possibly the worst German accent ever.
Talking about Werner, I saw The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call last night. I’d say the movie was one huge piss-take or parody of film noir and bad cop films, but since Wicker Man I can’t tell anymore when Nick Cage is taking the piss.
It might say a lot about Nicolas Cage, but when I saw his name in your header, I was sure you were talking about Luke Cage. I figured you must be adding a bit more comics talk onto the end of the poddie announcement, but I was wrong.
The moral of the story: Nic Cage needs to do a good film again. And no Mitch, I don’t mean Ghost Rider 2.
