Now that we have keys to the new place, Jules and I are slowly but surely moving boxes to the new place.  The big move will be on Feb 8, but in the meantime, we’re moving stuff that we can carry in our cars.

It’s fun watching Jules unpack stuff in the kitchen, looking all excited because now she has all the room in the world to do many cool culinary things.

The pain in the arse is the internet.  Telstra will, supposedly, transferring our phone on the afternoon of the 8th, the day we move.  But tpg (whose Indian call centre drives me up the wall) will only activate my internet once the phone is active.  Which makes sense.  Except it’s going to take 8 working days for that to happen.

So I’ll be without Internet, most probably, from the 8th of Feb to the 20th.  And for an addict like me, that’s going to be hell.

The silver lining is that I’m finally – FINALLY – moving all my unread books to the new place.  It’ll probably take me 8 days to open all the boxes, inspect each and every book (with a loving caress) and pop them on my new bookshelves (THANK YOU SARA!).
