Well, after six years and three months, I’m finally leaving Cubit Media Research.

At the moment I’ve been offered temp work at Vic Roads (which looks after licenses, and testing and that sort of thing). I’ll be working in the Bookstore and in the Library doing database stuff. Not the most glamorous job in the world, but I’ve already visited my new workplace and the people seem very nice and there’s already talk of fulltime work. Which is cool. In the meantime, the 25 hours a week will pay the bills. And the job also gives me plenty of time to look for other – better paid – work. And who knows, I might like working for Vic Roads and if I get the opportunity for full time work I might stay on.

It’s all a mystery. And quite exciting really.

I start Tuesday.

Me and the Cubit posse are getting drunk Monday.

Should be fun.
