But it did.

Jules and I are married.  In fact, we’ve been married for 15 days.

LJ has gone in-depth about the day and what happened.  So I don’t need to.  Ha!

But seriously.  It was brilliant.

I didn’t eat very much on my wedding day.  Which is sad, because I really wanted eat the Barramundi and the Steak, but my stupid stomach wouldn’t let me.  Sigh.  I was so filled with nerves and anxiety.  Once Jules and I had done our wedding dance, all that nervousness dissapeared and I found myself really, really enjoying myself.  So from about 10:15 pm till midnight… and beyond… I had a blast (and ate half the desert).

The Chuppah – the ceremony – was simply surreal.  I kept standing there, watching the Rabbi going through his motions and wondering whether this was actually happening to me.  I tried to keep as much eye contact with Jules as possible, but I’m not sure if I succeded there.  At least I broke the glass – something I’d been freaking about for months and months.  Actually, I pulversied the thing.  And Jules looked simply, breathtakingly gorgeous.  There are some pictures on her LJ and more on my Facebook – if you wanna look.

The honeymoon was amazing.  I ate more fish then I’ve ever eaten before.  Everything from Choral trout, Ocean Trout, Barramunid, Wild Barramundi, Mackerel, King Snapper, Yellow Fin Tuna and Rainbow Trout.  All of it very yummy.  Jules and I basically enjoyed the lovely weather and the blue skies and each others company.  We did very few tourist things.  We simply could not be bothered.  But we did go on a hot air ballon, which was great.

I also finished the Harry Potter book on the honeymoon.  It was pretty good – apart from the 300 pages of padding in the middle.  But I liked it.

And yes, I was on the internet – playing Facebook Scrabble – while I was on the honeymoon.  The five star resort had free broadband, and every so often I felt the need to avail myself of it.  I swear I wasn’t sitting on the internet all day.

Anyway, that’s it from me.  I’ll make a point of updating this LJ of mine more regularly.

P.S.  And thank you to the people who left kind notes on my LJ.  That was very nice.
