I love Passover.  I love the coming together of family, the yelling and the screaming the jokes and my fiance, Jules, experiencing the Monds at their best and worst (sometimes in the same half second – though to be fair, after 13 months, she’s mostly experienced everything the Mond family has to offer in terms of strangeness) And I love my Dad (with my assistance) zipping through the Hagadah in eight minutes flat.  I love the singing toward the end, Echad Mi Yodeah and Chad Gad Yah (with Jules and her sister introducing me to the Pinn version with all the animal noises and related sound effects… you had to be there).  I also love the food that my Mum makes.   The gefilte fish and the kneidelach (Matzah Balls) and the chicken soup and the chicken and the veal and the chocolate mousse.  I even love the Kedem Malaga wine with its strange brown colour.

What I can’t stand is the heart burn.  DAMN YOU MATZAH!!!!
