So why bother starting an LJ entry if I don’t have anything meaningful to say? Well, coz I want to. So you can stuff your sorrys in a sack mister!

Anyways, these are the things of note that have happened to me since Passover ended with a constipated groan (people who have partaken of the Matza will know what I mean).

On Saturday night, Jules and I saw spoonbender in their first performance. They played with plenty of verve and raw energy and you could tell that were just loving the experience. Sara was so hyped up before the performance, I thought her brain was going to explode, showering me with little bits of grey brain jelly. Tahl, who’ll probably say she was nervous as all hell, look cool, calm and collected. Even when her family showed up. Anyways, both Jules and I were impressed.

Then came ANZAC day where Jules made ANZAC cookies. They were brilliant. I also missed watching the footy coz I was at her place with her friends having afternoon tea. I can’t remember the last time I’ve missed the ANZAC day match. There you go, the power of girls and their ANZAC cookies

Oh, and for those who are interested about the Weight Watchers I’m proud to say that I maintained my weight over the Passover period. Which was a big surprise to me as I did eat my guts out.

Things are now back to normal and it looks like I’ve lost another half a kilo or thereabout. But I’ll know for certain next Tuesday. I’m literally falling out of my pants.

And finally, writing in the Readings Cafe is brilliant. I go there everyday after work. I’m surroudned by books and good music and they make a decent coffee. I bring my laptop and for an hour I type away. Writing in the cafe is the best decision I’ve ever made.
